The only way to really choose a bed is to lie on it. Prodding it with your fingers or sitting on the edge won’t help. A bed is a matter of preference but some things will hold true. You do not want a mattress that is too hard or too soft. If you cannot slip your hand into the small of your back, then the mattress is too soft.
