Will Self, Benjamin Zephaniah, and others, star at Hillingdon’s new West London literary festival

The public has the opportunity to engage with leading writers and poets from Brunel University London and other high profile authors at a free new community literary festival in Hillingdon, west London.

 

Highly acclaimed author Will Self will be opening the Hillingdon Literary Festival on the weekend of October 16–18, at Brunel University London, in Uxbridge and the award-winning performance poet Benjamin Zephaniah, both of whom are professors at Brunel.

 

Among the 30 speakers taking part in the weekend of events are authors Kate Mosse and Deborah Moggach; the dramatist, biographer and New Yorker theatre critic John Lahr; and Geoffrey Robertson QC. It ends on Sunday evening with a one-man show by Nick Makoha.
