Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher Split. Moore files for divorce.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have announced they are filing for divorce after six years of marriage. The split comes after months of allegations of Kutcher having an extra-marital affair.

Demi Moore announced that she had filed for divorce from her 16 years younger husband. The 49 year old had tried to work at the marriage after Kutcher,33, allegedly cheated on her on their sixth wedding anniversary in September.

Moore said; “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton.

“As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.

“This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Kutcher, who took over from Charlie Sheen in Two and A Half Men, soon after responded on Twitter saying, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”

Demi Moore was previously married to singer Freddy Moore and Bruce Willis, with whom she has three children. They divorced in 2000.

She began dating Kutcher a few years after breaking up with Willis.

The couple married in September 2005.

Kutcher allegedly had a fling with Texas-born Sara Leal during a weekend of partying in San Diego.

Charlie Sheen's Winning Week

Charlie Sheen’s Winning Week: After Winning a New Sitcom, Sheen Steps in to Help Children’s Charity

Charlie Sheen is having a good week. With a new show, a Comedy Central roast and becoming an overnight hero to 1000’s of families of sick babies born with a mysterious birth defect, it seems Charlie Sheen’s star is back on the rise.

On Tuesday, the LA Times announced Charlie Sheen has landed the lead role of the new television series, “Anger Management” based on the movie starring Adam Sandler. “I chose ‘Anger Management’ because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept,” Sheen said.

That’s not all Charlie Sheen has been up to.

Last Wednesday, Dawn Williamson, founder of CHERUBS, challenged Mr. Sheen via Twitter to get his millions of fans to throw her charity 25,000 votes in a Facebook contest. Her efforts paid off and Mr. Sheen accepted the challenge. Tweeting and re-tweeting for the charity this week, Mr. Sheen has made it a personal quest to help CHERUBS; “I’m down with Dawn!! @ncdawn RT @cherubs Help critically ill babies with CDH. Take Charlie’s challenge to vote! www.voteforcdh.org”

Currently at 3rd place, CHERUBS is a regional finalist in the 2011 Vivint Gives Back Project. CHERUBS and 1000’s of families of children born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) are counting on a miracle from the former “Two and a Half Men” star. “CDH families in 38 countries are cheering him on and so very grateful for his support and the awareness he is raising for our cause,” says Williamson.

A child is born is born with CDH every 10 minutes. With a 50% mortality rate, this means 3 babies die from CDH every hour. Winning the contest will help fund research to find the cause of CDH. “50% of money won will go towards genetic research of CDH through Mass General’s CDH Research Study. The other 50% will go towards family support services and awareness,” says Williamson. Information about the contest and where funds will go can be found at www.voteforcherubs.org

Brooke Mueller in plane row

Brooke Mueller had a row with a flight attendant on Tuesday, culminating in her leaving her plane before it departed Los Angeles.

The former wife of Charlie Sheen – who has reportedly reconciled with the troubled actor and father of her two-year-old twin sons Bob and Max – was on a United Airlines flight to Cancun in Mexico when she was prevented from using the restroom on board because the plane was about to depart.

Although Brooke claims the flight attendant was rude and replied “tough” when she explained she had to vomit, a witness told gossip website TMZ that the 33-year-old reality TV star was “belligerent and cussing out” the staff member.

The real estate agent is said to have gone “ballistic” and demanded to leave the plane, which she was allowed to do, though it is not known if she was ejected from the flight or allowed to dismount of her own accord.

Brooke – who has endured a long battle with drug and alcohol abuse – recently completed a 45 day treatment programme at an unnamed rehab facility and is said to be doing “amazing”.

A source revealed: “Brooke is just taking it a day at a time. She has been down this road before and she knows what she has to do.

“Brooke needs to continue to play an active role in her sobriety. When she goes to her AA meetings everyday and talks regularly with her sponsor, she does amazing.”

The actress has completed an outpatient programme which allowed her to spend eight hours a day with her sons and now she will be spending every day with them, and every other weekend.

Charlie Sheen set for Anger Management

At last, Charlie Sheen is getting Anger Management….

Charlie Sheen is to star in a new comedy series.

The 45-year-old actor – who was axed from hit show ‘Two and a Half Men’ earlier this year due to his erratic behaviour and turbulent personal life – is in talks to appear in a new show based on the 2003 movie ‘Anger Management’.

Producer Joe Roth wants Charlie to portray an athlete-turned counsellor – originally played by Jack Nicholson in the movie – who enrages his patients more than calming them down and has his own problems with rage, the Hollywood Reporter states.

Though the planned programme has not yet received a finance or distribution deal, the hope is for a pilot episode to be ready for autumn 2012.

Charlie’s spokesperson said: “Receiving several opportunities but can’t comment on anything at this time.”

Joe has previously worked with the actor on five movie projects, including ‘Major League’ and ‘Young Guns’.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Charlie is to be the subject of a ‘Comedy Central Roast’

The troubled star is to be subjected to an evening of comic heckling on the one-off show, which will air on September 19 – the same night as Ashton Kutcher makes his debut on ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s head of programming, said: “Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast, which scares even us.”

However, Charlie is well aware of the plethora of material his turbulent personal life will provide for those taking part in the episode.

He added: “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this ‘Roast’ for a while. It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”
