Gemma Arterton says it’s hard to find clothes that suit her curvy figure.

The stunning actress admits she sometimes struggles to find outfits that flatter her hourglass body and can’t just wear anything so often relies on Italian fashion house Gucci.

She said: “My shape means I can’t throw on an outfit. Gucci tends to design best for my hourglass figure.”

Gemma is also a fan of tailored jackets as they go with any outfit.

She told Britain’s Vogue magazine: “I wear my tailored jackets to death – Armani, Givenchy and Margiela.”

As well as wearing certain clothes, Gemma also sticks to the same perfume and make-up.

She said: “I do love a red lip – Nars Jungle Red is my favourite.

“My scents always have hints of Jasmine. Right now, it’s Balenciaga Paris – it’s floral, light and musky.”

Gemma has previously admitted she likes to keep her style simple.

She said: “For me it’s kind of simple really. I don’t really go for anything too embellished or fancy or frilly or girly and it has to be easy because I haven’t got time for anything that’s too difficult!

“I just like putting on a pair jeans and jacket and going, although I do like heels – I’ve got a passion for shoes, but I always end up wearing the one same pair of shoes. But it works with my lifestyle because I’m always running around so it doesn’t work for me to wear tight skirts and corsets, or whatever it is! Jeans are definitely the way forward.”

Jimmy Choo’s Tamara Mellon thinks “keeping innovation and energy flowing” have made the brand successful.

The Chief Creative Officer of the iconic shoe and accessory brand said even though the company has grown to become an incredible worldwide success, she is always looking at ways to improve.

She told vogue.co.uk: “Keeping innovation and energy flowing it key. I dreamed of creating the perfect luxury accessory house, one that captures the hearts of women around the world.

“Even now with everything that we have accomplished we are far from resting on our laurels, what excites me most is the thrill of the next project, the next idea.

“While I am enormously proud of our brand’s heritage, I know the best is yet to come.”

Tamara, 44, also looks back to the origins of the brand – which now has over 130 outlets worldwide – in order to make sure it retains the spirit with which it started when she co-founded in 1996 in London.

She added: “We call it The Spirit of Mocomb Street, which is where the very first Jimmy Choo store was, and the company ethos has remained unchanged since the very beginning.”

Tamara was also appointed a UK business ambassador in January by the country’s Prime Minister David Cameron.

She added: “I was so honoured to be appointed by David Cameron, to focus on growing the economy by increasing overseas trade and I will do everything I can to promote British business abroad.”

Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker were the highest paid actresses of last year.

The Hollywood beauties tied at the top of the list, compiled by Forbes magazine, earning $30 million each.

Angelina’s earnings come mainly from her starring roles in two big budget action movies, ‘Salt’ and ‘The Tourist’, the latter of which earned $280 million at the box office.

Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica made most of her money from the series ‘Sex and the City’, both from TV re-runs and the second movie, which took $290 million at the box office.

As well as money from ‘Sex and the City’, the actress has a successful line of perfumes, including ‘Lovely’, ‘Covet’ and ‘NYC’, which made her $18 million in 2010. She has also ventured into fashion, designing clothes for the Halston brand.

Taking joint third place on the list were Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who each earned $28 million.

The former ‘Friends’ star – who has experienced a string of flop movies, including 2008’s ‘Management’, which generated less than $1 million – took home high pay cheques from ‘The Bounty Hunter, which made $136 million and ‘Just Go With It,’ which was the fourth-highest grossing film of her career to date.

In fifth place, Julia Roberts tied with ‘Twilight Saga’ actress Kristen Stewart, with them both earning $20 million in the last financial year.

To calculate the stars’ earnings, Forbes collated figures from agents, lawyers and producers and other movie industry figures.

The earnings presented are estimates for the financial year running from May 1, 2010 and May 1, 2011 and consist of pre-tax gross figures, without management, agent and attorney fees deducted.

George Clooney "Not Gay".

George Clooney’s best friend “knew” his relationship with Elisabetta Canalis wouldn’t last.

The actor – who recently ended his two-year romance with the Italian beauty – was introduced to the TV presenter by Manuele Malenotti, who admits he never expected the pair to have a long-term future because George is so determined not to marry again or have children.

Manuele said: “I have known George for ten years. Of all the actors I know in Hollywood he is the one I see the most and we have done lots of charity work together.

“I know about their relationship because I was the one who got them together. George wanted to meet Elisabetta and he asked me to make the introductions.

“I did as he asked but inside I always knew that it wouldn’t last – to be honest I was expecting it. You will have to ask them for all the specific reasons.

“All I can say is that George, when it comes to love, has decided that he is not going to get married again and he is not going to have any children and he won’t change his mind.”

Manuele also criticised speculation that George, 50, and 32-year-old Elisabetta’s relationship was a publicity stunt designed to cover his true sexuality, insisting the pair had a very “intense” romance.

He added to Italy’s Chi magazine: “To suggest it was a publicity stunt is a lie. I introduced them, I saw them together and I can say that their love story was very intense. In two years they shared numerous moments.

“I can also tell you that I have known George for ten years, I have spent a lot of time with him and a lot of women have passed through his life. You never know in life, and men are having an identity crisis but I can tell you George is not gay.”

Charlie Sheen set for Anger Management

At last, Charlie Sheen is getting Anger Management….

Charlie Sheen is to star in a new comedy series.

The 45-year-old actor – who was axed from hit show ‘Two and a Half Men’ earlier this year due to his erratic behaviour and turbulent personal life – is in talks to appear in a new show based on the 2003 movie ‘Anger Management’.

Producer Joe Roth wants Charlie to portray an athlete-turned counsellor – originally played by Jack Nicholson in the movie – who enrages his patients more than calming them down and has his own problems with rage, the Hollywood Reporter states.

Though the planned programme has not yet received a finance or distribution deal, the hope is for a pilot episode to be ready for autumn 2012.

Charlie’s spokesperson said: “Receiving several opportunities but can’t comment on anything at this time.”

Joe has previously worked with the actor on five movie projects, including ‘Major League’ and ‘Young Guns’.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Charlie is to be the subject of a ‘Comedy Central Roast’

The troubled star is to be subjected to an evening of comic heckling on the one-off show, which will air on September 19 – the same night as Ashton Kutcher makes his debut on ‘Two and a Half Men’.

Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s head of programming, said: “Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast, which scares even us.”

However, Charlie is well aware of the plethora of material his turbulent personal life will provide for those taking part in the episode.

He added: “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this ‘Roast’ for a while. It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”

Emma Watson scares children

Emma Watson scares little children.

The 21-year-old actress – who has played Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter’ franchise since the age of 10 – explained kids are often terrified of her because they think she is going to cast a spell on them, which she finds “really funny”.

She said: “Some little children are sometimes scared of me because they think I can do a spell, and that I really am magic in real life. And I’ve always found that really funny, and I try and kind of say, ‘I won’t do anything to you. It’s OK’.

“Sometimes you can’t convince them, because they believe in it. They really believe in it. They really think that I’m Hermione in real life, which I love. It’s funny.”

Emma also revealed as fans of the wizard franchise have seen her “grow up on screen” over the past 10 years, they often feel they have a parental connection towards her.

Speaking on CNN’s ‘A Larry King Special – Harry Potter: The Final Chapter’, Emma added: “People literally have watched me grow up on screen. Like go from a nine-year-old girl to a 21 year old.

“I guess I’m a young woman now. And so, I think it’s interesting meeting people from my life who feel a sisterly or motherly, fatherly connection towards me, complete strangers who have opinions about it. It’s actually nice.”

Daniel Radcliffe is a 'nerdy' sex symbol

Daniel Radcliffe is “short and nerdy”.

The 21-year-old actor – best known for playing the titular boy wizard in the ‘Harry Potter’ movie series – admits he used to want to be regarded as a sex symbol, but appreciates he is not conventionally attractive.

He said: “There was a time when I wanted to be that guy who’s sexy and cool and all that stuff.

“If people find me sexy or cool, it’s because they like short little nerdy guys. And we do have our niche.”

Daniel also admitted he doesn’t think his fans view him in the same was as ‘Twilight’ devotees do Robert Pattinson because they have seen him grow up on screen.

He explained to the British edition of GQ magazine: “There’s more of a sexual energy behind ‘Twilight’ fans. Because people have mostly grown up with me, they tend to think of me as an older brother kind of figure. Whereas I think Rob is the sex symbol. And also, I guess, he’s out there more than I am, going to parties and things.

“I think everyone goes to more parties than me, so it’s not really a big competition.”

The 21-year-old British star is currently dating an unnamed member of the ‘Harry Potter’ team and says he is attracted to her because she is “cool and sane”.

He said: “It was one of those things where we were both in relationships and I broke up with my previous girlfriend and I was suddenly like, ‘Oh, I quite fancy you and I never even noticed that before.’

“She’s just really, really cool and lovely and sane – which is what I’m after.”

Natalie Portman names son Alef

Natalie Portman has named her baby son Alef.

The Oscar-winning actress and her fiance, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, have named their first child – who was born last month – after the first letter in the Hebrew alphabet.

According to Israeli TV Show ‘Good Evening with Guy Pines’, the Jewish actress decided to pay homage to her motherland with the moniker, which also means the “oneness of God”.

Meanwhile, the couple – who met on the set of ‘Black Swan’- have decided their son will adopt both their last names with the surname Portman-Millepied.

Prior to the birth of baby Alef, who is yet to be seen in public, Natalie admitted her Jewish ancestry had caused her to be “superstitious”.

She explained: “I think it’s a Jewish thing to be kind of superstitious. You don’t do any of the baby stuff before the baby arrives.”

Throughout her pregnancy Natalie paid tribute to her parents Avner and Shelley Hershlag, saying she hoped to look after her child in the same way that she was brought up.

She said: “If I am a shadow as good a parent, an echo, then I will be the best in the world, so thank you.”
