Endless Jewellery – Affordable Luxury For Modern Women of All Ages

Endless Jewellery – affordable luxury for modern women of all ages with Endless possibilities.

If you loved the concept and appeal of Pandora jewellery, the Endless jewellery collection is about to hit your dressing table! Brought to the market by the Danish family who were the first to get the rights to sell Pandora internationally, this fast growing business launched the Endless brand in 2013 and the customer reaction to the collection was exceptional, so much so that in 2014, they are expanding internationally in Europe and the United States, and are now distributing in the UK. The spirit of Endless is ‘love, fun, friendship and much more’, reflected in every fun piece through exciting colourways and the most exquisite charms which will become as addictive as the Pandora legacy.

braceletsThere are hundreds of different charms to choose from in plated rose gold, 18 carat gold and sterling silver (always a best seller), all adorned with real gemstones. Perhaps combine the golden charms with the new brown leather bracelet to obtain a modern yet classic look, or if you like a more young and modern piece, choose black and grey leather with just a few selected charms… sassy! To find jewellery with such versatility is unique, imagine a bracelet which can be worn to the office with low key, structured adornments, carrying through to sophisticated key piece evening embelishments, eye-catching gems, loaded with style and glitz, then de-constructing for holiday, building combinations around sumptuous yellow leather to reflect sunshine, friendships and memories.

Bonnie Marcus Collection Book Reviews

We received two cool books to review from the Bonnie Marcus Collection: Guilt-Free Girl Desserts and Cupcakes & Cocktails. First impressions of the book is that they have a great design. Second is: I am now hungry. And I want a cocktail.

Guilt-Free Desserts is my kind of book. Who doesn’t want to eat dessert without getting fat? It may seem like a pipe-dream but you can make dessert as guilt-free as possible. These desserts are low calorie, there are a lot of figure-friendly recipes. Some of the desserts have fewer than 250 calories each. The book is bursting with great desserts that will make you a domestic goddess. It is hard to choose a favourite but I particularly thought the Banana and Coconut Ice Cream Balls looked amazing.

The book also lets you know what ingredients to add that are super-foods and will make you healthier. This is a stylish book with great dessert ideas.

Cupcakes & Cocktails

Cupcakes and cocktails. Just so yummy and they really make a party. This book even helps you match cupcake and cocktail flavours, or make the ingredients clash. There is even cocktail cupcakes to try.

This book should be on every bookshelf. It has a huge amount of cupcakes and cocktails, all delicious. It doesn’t just have recipes, it also has tips on baking. There is also a lower calorie chapter and a chapter entirely on chocolate. Heaven awaits. There are so many to try it will take a while to get through them all. Which is only a good thing as it will be a lot of fun.

Bonnie Marcus launched her stylish stationery company, the Bonnie Marcus Collection “Where Fashion Meets Paper®” in 2002 from her dining room table, while expecting her first child.

As a former wedding planner in New York City, Bonnie was well-known for her event planning expertise, and found there was a void in the stationery market in terms of fashion-forward, stylish designs. She decided to combine her passion for fashion (having worked for designer Diane Von Furstenberg) with her love of event planning, and her collection took the stationery industry by storm!

Bonnie’s stylish designs are now available in thousands of retail stores world-wide, and celebrity fans include Cindy Crawford, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and many others. Bonnie has been recognised as a pioneer for women in business and is proud to be an established partner of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Autism Speaks.

Frost Loves…Museum of London Replica Collection From QVC

We love jewellery and when we spotted the replicas from QVC’s collaboration with Museum of London we were hooked, a replica collection of some of the world’s finest Elizabethan and early Stuart jewels and gemstones from The Cheapside Hoard.  This is the first time a UK museum has licensed a TV shopping retailer to use their collection or brand.

Museum of London, hoard, cheapside, jewellery, replica, QVC cheapside jewellery, museum of London, QVC, Replica

Opening on 11th October, The Cheapside Hoard: London’s Lost Jewels exhibition at the Museum of London will showcase an exquisite collection of jewellery, unexpectedly discovered beneath a cellar floor over 100 years ago in Cheapside.  Featuring stunning Byzantine cameos, glittering garnets, diamonds, amethysts and sapphires, the exhibition opens up the world of the early modern goldsmith-jeweller and their creative talents and techniques.

Drawing on all corners of the world; the emerald mines of Colombia, the diamond graves of India and pearl banks of Bahrain, the jewels of The Cheapside Hoard showcase London’s role in the international gem trade in an age of global conquest and exploration.

To celebrate this amazing find, QVC has created a replica collection of some of the hoard’s highlights including necklaces, pendants, rings and earrings, each piece set with stunning gemstones based on original pieces from The Cheapside Hoard.

Commenting on the collaboration, Joanna Mansbridge, head of jewellery buying for QVC said, “This is a one of a kind collection for QVC, the jewellery creates a real talking point and each piece has a unique story to tell about the history of London.  We are thrilled to have partnered with Museum of London on this industry first.”

Each piece is crafted in sterling silver coated in 14ct gold and will bring a part of London’s history to the jewellery collections of women across the UK.  The collection has been made using the same craftsmanship techniques as those back in the late 16th century in order to recreate the same stunning designs.

Harriet Berry, Licensing Manager, Museum of London said: “The partnership between the Museum of London and QVC is an exciting first for the Museum of London and the museum sector overall. This truly multi-channel partnership gives people from across the UK the opportunity to own their own beautiful piece of jewellery inspired by the stunning Cheapside Hoard whether they choose to visit the museum shop, watch QVC or shop online.”

Prices range from £79.00 to £469.00 for one of these unique replicas which will be available to buy exclusively from QVC from 3rd September and also from the Museum of London gift shop throughout the exhibition.

During these hot summer months  Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray has been a godsend. Cooling us off and improving our skin tone. This 50ml can is even small enough to take traveling. It is perfect for planes. Celebrity fans include Gwyneth Paltrow who says it is a ‘soothing water spray for irritated skin. It’s also good as a quick refresher on a hot day. I know lots of makeup artists who use it, as it helps set makeup.” and Sophie Dahl says it keeps her skin from getting dry. Angelina Jolie is also a fan. It is only £3.15 for the 50ml spray and £6.50 for 50ml. Bargain.

The Unsung Beauty Hero

Cuticura-Anti-Bacterial-Hand-Serum-181563

How many times a day do you think you touch your face? Research shows that we touch common objects 3.3 times per hour and our face 3.6 times. The germs transfer to the face and may lead to skin irritations, bacterial and viral infections. Step in Cuticura and its range of antibacterial skin care solutions.

I always carry their Cuticura Anti Bacterial Hand Serum in my bag. Especially as a women’s handbag is supposed to have as much bacteria as the average toilet. Ew. It protects hands from germs for up to 8 hours. It kills 99.99% of germs and only costs £3.49 for 200ml. Unlike other antibacterial hand gels, it also keeps hands soft and smells nice.

I also love their Cuticura Hand Hygiene Anti-Bacterial Wipes Which I use to clean my makeup bag, brushes and my handbag. I also use their Anti Bacterial Hand wash. It is good for my dry skin and also protects for up to 3 hours. They cost £2.49 from Sainsbury’s, Superdrug and independent pharmacies.

The Toxin Free Nail Polish

The Organic Balm

organic, beauty, balm.

Niki’s Organic Balm’s are a blend of organic oils, essential oils and beeswax. Niki trained as a homeopath and a reflexologist. She was surprised how many balms were petroleum or mineral based oil. She bought beeswax, oils, essential oils and started making her own foot balms. Her balms are antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial. They smell fantastic and she now has a few different varieties. Her original balm is good for everything from cold sores, insect bites and cracked heels. I talked to Niki’s son about her balms and the family passion really came through. Great balms that work. http://www.nikisbalms.co.uk

The Water

Volvic Tropical-Fruits-50cl review

Keeping hydrated is very important for good skin and health. Volvic Touch of Fruit’s newest edition, Tropical Fruits Flavour tastes great. Combining Volvic Natural Mineral Water and a tasty blend of pineapple, mango, and passion fruit flavours, it made us feel like we were on holiday. Great when you want something more than water, watch out for the sugar content though.

Volvic Touch of Tropical Fruits is available in 50cl and 1.5l bottles from Tesco and independent stores (RRP 80p for 50cl, and 99p for 1.5l.
