Casper Sheets

caspersheetskingsize caspersheetscasper-gallery-04-sheets-chambray-nauk caspersheetscaspersheetsreviewIn recent times I have become obsessed with good bedding. I buy expensive sheets and I have an expensive mattress. I am actually embarrassed to give you a number. But I have no regrets. We spend a huge chunk of our lives in bed and few things are more important than sleep. For this very reason I jumped at the chance to review Casper’s sheets. They may be pricey: fitted sheets are from £45, duvet covers from £70 and pillowcases are from £40. So is it worth the price? Let’s find out.

First of all, they are engineered to perfection. And comfortable. So unbelievable comfortable. They are made with the finest cotton fibres and they feel amazing. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design. They are soft and airy. The cotton is grown in Central Valley California, their premium long-staple Supima cotton won’t pill or wear thin — it will only get better with every wash. The fitted sheets have labels which indicate the shorter ends, making putting the sheet on much easier and then it stays put with grippy elastic. It is this attention to detail that makes Casper sheets so special. The sheets also make sure you are not too cold, or too hot.  I can highly recommend them. As if you needed another reason to stay in bed.

As the night’s get longer and the day’s get colder, Casper invites you to spend more time in bed with their cosy and comfortable sleep products – now available at www.casper.com/uk

Casper have also introduced a brand new pop-up space taking place at Covent Garden called Casper House – a place where sleep-deprived individuals can swing by for a well-deserved power nap and an opportunity to test out products and re-energise (Open 10am-8pm Monday to Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays, from 6th October until end of December, in Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House Arcade)

How To Read Music: This Video Shows You How

National_Anthem_of_the_Islamic_Republic_of_Iran(SHEET_MUSIC)Ever aspired to be a musician? Are you musician who wants to be able to read music? Well, look no further. Those awesome people at TED-Education have a brilliant video from Tim Hansen on How To Read Music, and it is a lot easier than you think.

Like an actor’s script, a sheet of music instructs a musician on what to play (the pitch) and when to play it (the rhythm). Sheet music may look complicated, but once you’ve gotten the hang of a few simple elements like notes, bars and clefs, you’re ready to rock. Tim Hansen hits the instrumental basics you need to read music.
