Ironhack tech school growing in the UK

Ironhack, the international tech school, now has a remote offering and a London team available to career-changers moving into tech. Ironhack bootcamps empower students to find meaningful careers in four key areas: Web Development, UX/UI Design, Data Analytics and Cyber Security by offering immersive learning experiences.

 

Ironhack was one of the first bootcamp schools in Europe, founded in 2013 to disrupt the way students learn about technology, and now has ten campuses in Europe and the US. Offering remote learning, all courses can be conducted from anywhere in the UK, but the London base has an active community as well as regular events for students, alumni and the wider tech community to meet and connect in person.

 

Ironhack bootcamps offer students an effective alternative to studying a BSc, because they offer learn-by-doing methodology in just nine weeks, as opposed to committing to a three-year course. Students get hands-on experience working on live projects from day one and the chance to build connections with other students. Plus, dedicated career teams are available throughout the course to help students progress, connect to future employers and find a job.

 

Students finish Ironhack programmes with a new way of thinking and of approaching problems. The bootcamps are predominantly targeted at those aged 25-34 but are suitable for all adults. They are ideal for those wanting to learn to code and arm themselves with the right skills for a career in tech, or for those looking for a career change into tech, or to upskill current employees/business owners who want to remain relevant as the world of work moves on.

It is summer time and the living is easy. It is perfect picnic weather so this Shapes and Sharing Picnic basket from Leapfrog is the perfect toy. It is bright and colourful and it is great for learning.
Your child can learn about food, shapes and colours. Shape sorters are great toys for children, helping their coordination and learning all about different shapes. The picnic basket also sings and talks. I find toys with food are great for helping to encourage children to eat.

Gtech HyLite Review

I have children so I hoover a lot. Or my husband does at least. With the hoovers we have at the moment this is a huge amount of hassle. They are bulky and heavy. Getting them out of the cupboard is an effort in itself. We had a handheld but it gave up. I also hate clutter and in London space is a premium. So being sent the new Gtech HyLite felt like Christmas had come early. I do not even care how old this makes me sound. I need small and convenient things in my life. 

When the box arrived with the GTech I found it hard to believe there was a hoover in there, and yet there was. Gtech have launched a brand new vacuum that is super small and super lightweight.

It is easy to assemble. Even for someone as undomestic as me. It is light and even has some charge in it. Regardless I plug it on before giving it a go. It would be easy to believe that its convenience and size would mean a compromise on performance but not so: it is an excellent hoover. You can retract and extend the handle easily. The handle also reclines easily. It is also a literal handheld. You just take the handle off! When you are done it is so small it fits into a drawer. It has 20 minutes of running time and takes 2 hours to charge fully. 

I love the Gtech HyLite. It is so convenient it is life-changing. It is a great piece of technology and for that it get the Frost Gold Standard accolade.

Frost has reviewed this cute little smart button. It has a variety of uses. We hooked it up to our Spotify so it could control the music. It is very smart indeed and very handy. It is easy to set up. Makes a great present, for Christmas or beyond.

In fact, it was designed to help people with RSI. And it does. We reviewed the B2 and the B3. We are a fan of Penclic. The dpi button is located under the mouse, the cursor will move faster for each setting. It will rotate around frequency from 800-1600 and then go back to low 800. Once the power is shut of the dpi setting will return to its default setting, 1200 dpi.
