Slim With Big Breasts? Frost Has The Answer To Your Fashion Dilemma

I have a fashion dilemma: I can either buy dresses in my size which squash my breasts, or buy a larger dress that makes me look like I am pregnant. I have always found it really annoying that a lot of women’s clothes are not designed for breasts. I mean, if they do not design them with our bodies in mind then why should we buy them? The clothes should be made to fit the body, not the body to fit the dress.

Made in Preston is the brand that specialises in fashion forward styles for women with slim waists and bigger boobs. Based in the industrial docklands of Preston, it is set to become the hottest new brand on the block.

Russia: Disclose Whereabouts of Missing Pussy Riot Member. Nadezhda Tolokonnikova Still Missing

Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Pussy Riots, Russia, missingConcern grows for missing Pussy Riot member Nadezhda Tolokonnikova.

Amnesty International has condemned the continuing refusal to disclose the whereabouts of a member of the Russian punk group Pussy Riot, who is rumoured to be in transfer to a prison colony in Siberia, saying it is clearly yet another attempt to silence her.

Denis Krivosheev Europe and Central Asia Deputy Director at Amnesty International said:
“Nadezhda Tolokonnikova has publicly complained of threats she received from prison officials. We are concerned that she now may be being punished for this and for speaking out about deplorable prison conditions.

“The Russian authorities must immediately tell her family where she is and allow her access to a lawyer. She is a prisoner of conscience who should have never been taken to jail in the first place. Refusing to say where she is simply fuels rumours of the worst case scenario.
“If reports are true, transferring her to a prison colony thousands of kilometres from Moscow would make it almost impossible for her relatives and lawyers to see her. This would be a violation of her human rights and of Russia’s own laws.”

Nadezhda Tolokonnikova’s whereabouts have been unknown since 22 October when she was reportedly taken from the penal colony where she was serving a two-year prison sentence. It is believed she is being transferred to another place, but the destination has not been revealed.
Her husband has now said a penitentiary administration source informed him of the possible move to a prison colony in Siberia.

Amnesty has made Nadezhda Tolokonnikova the subject of an urgent action campaign, calling on the authorities in Russia to disclose her location immediately.

Killing Fields of Ontario Release Free Download Prior to Album Drop Monday #Halloween

Killing Fields of Ontario

‘How the World Ends’ out 4th November

Ft Lead the Single, ‘Cloud’ (23rd Sept)

Out on KFoO Records

Killing Fields of Ontario, free download, music, download

With Halloween and the release of folk rockers Killing Fields of Ontario’s second LP ‘How the World Ends’ looming, one of the stand out tracks on the record is being offered out as a timely free download today (Halloween), as the band reassure you there is actually ‘Nothing To Be Frightened Of’.

Killing Fields of Ontario have a gift for turning the unspoken fears and realities of life into a fluid musical product. Combining tender progressions with climactic eruptions of madness, their new album ‘How the World Ends’ is at times elevating in its honesty and beauty, and at others wholly scornful of emotive truths. Wonderfully diverse elements of leftfield pop and contemporary folk are hardened by an immutable grit that spits and attacks, as showcased in its leading single, ‘Cloud’.

‘Cloud’ is a whirlwind of lament delivered with an urgency that will blow you away; its tortured plea reluctantly accepts the energetic orchestration offered by the proficient rhythm section providing the listener with a certain ambiguity. At first offering you its hand, Cloud promptly takes you by the arm on a journey through the warmest of acoustics and the most sensitive of themes.

HTWE, due to be released October 28th is decorated with a shimmering melancholy, reminiscent both in palette and texture; of the orchestral grandeur of Broken Social Scene, while other tracks demonstrate stylistic versatility as well as a more streetwise modern angst like Frightened Rabbit’s ‘Pedestrian Verse’ or the seasoned insight and worldly lyricism of Interpol.

Other influences include hints of We Are Augustines, Arcade Fire and Local Natives. In the arena, the band have shared stages with Sparrow and The Workshop, Broken Records, Chris Mills and Mount Eerie.

This is a band who clearly have a wonderful ability to engage with dark emotions, yet can still format to become radio darlings. Tom Robinson recently hailed them as ‘long-standing 6Music Introducing favourites’ and ‘Tired of Being a Man’, the frontrunner on their last record, was in Amazing Radio’s ‘Top 20’ for a month in summer 2011.

The upcoming record was produced and mixed by the band’s own Tom Loffman – whose album credits as engineer include VV Brown, Idlewild, and Billy Bragg – having cut his teeth working alongside some of the county’s top producers in Phil Brown (Robert Plant) and Dave Eringa (Manic Street Preachers). With all tracks mastered by Ed Woods (Bloc Party, The Futureheads), this is all sure evidence that ‘How the World Ends’ will be as enthralling a listen as its titled suggests.

‘Adventures In World Cinema’ Revealed As Theme of Cinecity, The 11th Brighton Film Festival

 14 Nov – 1 Dec 2013
www.cine-city.co.uk

Adventures in World Cinema has been announced as the theme of CINECITY, The 11th Brighton Film Festival, which opens on Thursday 14 November with a special preview of Alexander Payne’s bittersweet and award-winning road movie Nebraska.

Alexander Payne's nebraska Brighton film festival

The festival runs until Sunday 1 December and features a packed programme of premieres, previews, treasures from the archive and free education screenings.

Opening night is always a highlight of CINECITY, which last year featured Colin Farrell in Seven Psychopaths; so there are high expectations for Nebraska, which was nominated for the Palme d’Or at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival where leading man Bruce Dern was crowned Best Actor.

Tickets for all screenings go on sale on 25 October and events take place across the city of Brighton & Hove; but principal venues are the Duke of York’s Picturehouse and, for the first time, a new two-screen cinema at Dukes@Komedia.

As always the festival celebrates not only home-grown cinema, including films from Brighton-based directors, but looks further afield – and this year’s CINECITY features the most international selection to date, with films from Singapore, Laos, Kurdistan, China, Iran, India, Israel, Mexico, as well as Poland, Czech Republic, Scandinavia, France and the US.

Many of the films come garlanded with awards from major international film festivals including A Touch of Sin, winner of Best Screenplay at this year’s Cannes; and The Rocket, winner of Audience Awards at Sydney, Melbourne and Tribeca Film Festivals and Best First Feature at the Berlin Film Festival.

Continuing the international theme, a major celebration of the work of the legendary Czech surrealist Jan Švankmajer is at the heart of the festival – including an exhibition at the University of Brighton that features sets, puppets, costumes, and artwork from many of his acclaimed films including Alice, Punch and Judy and Little Otik that were a major influence on directors such Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam and the Quay Brothers.

To complement the exhibition, CINECITY presents a complete retrospective of Jan Švankmajer’s six feature films and 26 shorts alongside a programme of talks and discussions.

The festival concludes with a screening of The Double, a doppelganger comedy drama from director Richard Ayoade, at the Duke of York’s on Sunday 1 December.

The 2013 Festival sponsors include Carpenter Box LLP, Exhibit Print, Facilitate, Griffith Smith Farrington Webb LLP, La Cave a Fromage, Midnight Communications, Propellernet, Robinson Low Francis LLP, South Downs Solar and are supported by MyHotel, One Digital and The Brighton Film School.

Legendary Anchorman Ron Burgundy’s Book Jacket Is Revealed

Legendary Anchorman Ron Burgundy now has a book deal with Random House. His tell-All Autobiography LET ME OFF AT THE TOP! should be hilarious and is set for November 2013 International Release.

Ron Burgundy book

Ron Burgundy, the esteemed broadcast journalist, has reached agreement with Crown Archetype, an imprint of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group, to write his memoir. LET ME OFF AT THE TOP!: My Classy Life and Other Musings will be published simultaneously in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Australia in print and digital formats on November 19, 2013.

Ron Burgundy is known to all as the lead anchorman of San Diego’s award-winning Action 4 News Team and anchor of the first 24-hour news channel, GNN (Global News Network), but few know the real man behind the news desk. In LET ME OFF AT THE TOP! he will share never-before-told stories of his childhood and the events that led him to choose a career in the news business. He will offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor. In his own words, he will share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team. Along the way, he’ll also give sage advice on a variety of topics that matter most to him. The long wait is over. Ron Burgundy pulls no punches in this widely anticipated, fully authorized tell-all autobiography.

Mauro DiPreta, Vice President, Editor in Chief at Crown Archetype, acquired the book from Creative Artists Agency and will edit. Jack Fogg, Editorial Director at Century, an imprint of the Random House Group, will publish the book in the U.K. and Australia.

“I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work,” Burgundy said, adding, “I will tell you this much: the first time I sat down and read this thing . . . I cried like a goddamn baby, and you can take that to the bank!”

“The list of legendary American broadcast news journalists is short:  Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, and, of course, Ron Burgundy,” says DiPreta. “The printed page will allow Ron to tell his story in a much more intimate way. LET ME OFF AT THE TOP! will be a classic for years to come.”

Burgundy has had a huge, cultural impact in the U.K. and Australia as well. Said Fogg, “Burgundy’s influence on news reading is evident in the work of such legends as Richard Baker, Moira Stuart, Brian Henderson, and the early years of Jeremy Paxman. LET ME OFF AT THE TOP! will put an end to the many rumors and debates surrounding Ron and reveal the inner workings of a legendary broadcaster. His international fans will have themselves a book for the ages.”

Ron Burgundy is a trailblazer and an icon in television journalism. He and the Action 4 News Team will be honored at Washington, D.C.’s  Newseum with an installation of mementos and keepsakes of their time and impact in San Diego that will begin in December. On December 20, he will star as himself in Paramount Pictures’ Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.
