Emilia Fox | Style Icon

Emilia Fox: beautiful and an acting blue blood. She has a glittering career, is from an acting dynasty and is also a mother. The 39-year-old has been looking incredibly on the red carpet recently.

Emilia Fox covers up on the red carpet in Luisa Beccaria coat. The actress is a huge fan of the label, having worn pieces from the Italian demi-couture designer several times this year alone, including red carpet events and appearances – including the BFI Gala Dinner and Crime Thriller Awards this month.

Emilia chose this ivory wool coat to attend the premiere of Dom Hemingway in London this week – keeping cosy even on the red carpet as she posed for photographers without removing her coat.

21st Raindance Film Festival Opening Gala & How To Make Money Selling Drugs Premiere

The 21st Raindance Film Festival started with a richter scale bang. The great and the good of the International Film Industry congregated at the Vue West End in the iconic film centre of Leicester Square.

Elliott Grove, Raindance founder and champion of independent cinema, was in his element and shiny with success. Elliot looked incredibly happy and rightly so; his achievement is vast.

After the red carpet we were greeted with champagne and mingled.

We then headed into the cinema, grabbed our goody bags filled with popcorn and Pop Chips and waited to watch Michael Cooke’s documentary How to Make Money Selling Drug.

The controversial titled documentary, supported by  addiction services is a brilliant satire on how to sell drugs, but don’t worry, it is an anti-drug film. With an excellent format of going from street dealer to kingpin, it highlights the injustice of law enforcement and social economics. I cannot rave about this documentary enough. It completely changed my thinking and is now my favourite documentary. This is a very important documentary and everyone should see it. It starts off in a light-hearted way but it carries a very serious message. It does not shy away from difficult issues. Definitely go and see it.

The Opening Night After Party Gala at Café de Paris from 9pm with a performance from the wonderfully unique and talented band, Pepe Deluxé. was also great. Raindance is now part of the London fabric, a film festival deeply in the very fabric of the British Film Industry itself. Don’t miss it.

Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde | Theatre Review

Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde, theatre, theatre review, west endAs I entered the Leicester Square Theatre to review the West End Premiere of Brother Wolf’s new award-winning one-man show, ‘Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde’, ahead of its nationwide tour I remembered that the story was a horror. I then noticed their were children in the audience so I thought it would not be scary, how wrong was I. Impressively adapted, produced and performed by James Hyland, Hyland is a one man tour de force. He is great as Dr Jekyll and his evil side, Mr Hyde. This play is worth seeing for his performance alone.

Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde is not easy viewing. In fact, people even screamed in the audience. It is gruesome, scary and at some points downright uncomfortable, but it is a great piece of theatre. It shows what can be done with a one man show. The tale is an old, classic one and most people know of it and how it ends. This does not ruin the show though, Hyland playing the many characters does so with believability, talent and truthfulness. It is just Hyland and a podium on the stage but he manages to carry the entire show with ease.

As I mentioned before, there were children in the audience. I would not recommend this show for a child. I was quite uneasy at points and my companion thought it was scary.

Scary it may be but it is also brilliant and James Hyland is a superb actor. Go and see.

Presented in association with Harrogate Theatre

The Amazing Spiderman Premiere

Last Night the beautiful Donna Air walk the red carpet at The Amazing Spiderman Premiere in Leicester Square, donned in the W Hamond, presented by CW Sellors & Henshall dress and jewel collaboration. At Frost magazine we loved her dress.

Scott Henshall & W Hamond, presented by CW Sellors wow the crowds at

‘The Amazing Spiderman’ London premiere

British brands W Hamond, presented by CW Sellors & Henshall last night unveiled Donna Air sheathed in a British made Whitby Jet & Diamond Spider Web dress at ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ premiere at London’s Leicester Square. The intricate Spider and cobweb design by Scott Henshall and created by W Hamond is crafted from Whitby Jet combined with diamonds spinning its magical web around a daring little black dress. Presenter of Fashion TV, Hofit Golan, was also seen in W Hamond Whitby Jet & Diamond jewellery.

CW Sellors are no strangers to the silver screen and were involved with the movie possession where Gwyneth Paltrow can be seen wearing their Whitby Jet jewellery.

Scott Henshall “King of the Red Carpet” originally stole the headlines at the first Spiderman world premiere in 2002 when Jodie Kidd strutted down the red carpet in a web of lace. Henshall then eclipsed that dress at the ‘Spider Man 2’ world premiere in 2004 when Samantha Mumba wore a £5million diamond encrusted dress, which to this day is still the ‘world’s most expensive dress’.
