Kate Moss Encased In Bronze For Pop Magazine

Kate Moss has knocked all of the pretenders to the throne clean away with her latest photo shoot: encased in bronze for Pop Magazine.

Whatever you think of Moss, it is impressive that she has managed to have a two-decade plus career in the fickle industry of fashion.

The 39-year-old is on the cover of the Autumn/Winter Pop Magazine, the biannual British fashion magazine. The bronze bodysuit was created by artist Allen Jones.

What do you think? Is Moss an icon?

Time To Give Up Sugar? Mentor Me Off Sugar Day 18 & 19

get off sugar, no sugar diet, should i give up sugar, is sugar bad for you, the white stuff, is sugar evil,This programme is hard, but with all hard things, the pay off is always worth it. I can now taste the sweetness in things I would never have before. I am slimmer, going from an 8-10 to an 8. And that is without any exercise as I haven’t had any time to do so. I have also been eating more than before, just healthier stuff with no sugar.

What I do find hard is snacking. I am so busy and I feel unable to just grab something. I know this is actually not true and Laura has given me some great suggestions, but the inability to just grab a biscuit or some fruit is very annoying. The no sugar programme is time consuming but when it comes to your health all the time you put in will pay off later. We abuse our bodies too much and take them for granted. We only have one and when it goes, you die. Puts it into perspective, doesn’t it?

I miss drinking tea all day and I see stuff all the time I want to eat but the benefits keep me going. I am glad I embarked on this programme.

Laura send me some great articles that I want to share with you.

Sugar is causing major health problems in today’s society, The sooner we take responsibility for our own health the better for us and the country as a whole. If we all eat healthily it would ease the strain on the NHS.

I know when I am finding the diet restrictive I am just not using my imagination. I have 9 more days to go and I decide to become more imaginative. I have been eating a lot of wholemeal bread, cheese, meat and vegetables. I have also been drinking a lot of herbal tea and water. The herbal tea is more enjoyable than it was but it still does not compare to normal tea. Sometimes I think that healthy things taste horrible and unhealthy things taste great, but I know it is not true. I love kale chips and have also been eating a lot of parsnips and carrots. I even spent four hours baking a pie and have not had any white pasta.

I have not weighed myself as I am always heavier than I look- friends are surprised when I tell them how much I weigh, I flatter myself by pretending it must be muscle which weighs four times more than fat- but my measurements are lower. All-in all: I am happy.

Happy Sugar Habits.

The artworks celebrate a part of the body that is usually hidden away. A model posed on a chaise lounge with a beautiful piece of artwork on her underarm. We drank white wine and enjoyed the art.

The one-day exhibition was curated with Vaseline Deodrant to celebrate the female form. Each piece was inspired by one of the products in Vaseline’s new range which include; Derma Beauty, Double Invisible, Aloe Fresh and Active Fresh. All are priced at £1.86 and available from Boots and other retailers nationwide.

Be Safe, Be Seen: Personal and Professional Safety Clothing

With increasing numbers of people out on the roads, and industries becoming increasingly hazardous thanks to the insatiable demand for work to be done as quickly as possible, it’s more important than ever that we all have adequate protection when we’re somewhere that accidents can occur.

Whether this is in the workplace or just out for a Untitledbike ride with the family, we all need to make sure that we are visible to others in the vicinity to reduce the risk of accidents occurring because we weren’t seen. The best way of doing this is to wear high visibility clothing wherever possible to reflect light and stand out in dark areas.

Motorcyclists are just one group of people who are particularly at risk out on the roads. Due to being a significantly smaller vehicle than cars and lorries, and only having one headlight, many drivers will pull out from side roads without really looking and seeing an oncoming motorcyclist resulting in a potentially fatal accident.

If the motorcyclist is wearing a form of high visibility clothing, particularly at night or in harsh weather, then they increase their chance of being seen and reduce the risk of accidents.

A lot of people choose to go running along the side of roads near their homes. People, obviously, don’t come with headlights or indicators, and busy passing traffic can obscure the runner from the vision of other road users. When the leading car moves around the runner, the following cars might not be able to see them, resulting in an accident. Wearing a high-viz t-shirt or lightweight jacket can help them to improve their visibility with headlights reflecting off the clothing.

Pedestrians out walking their dogs can also find high-visibility clothing for their beloved animal to help them to be seen when walking near roads, too.

It’s also vital that safety clothing is worn in a professional capacity. If you work in a yard filled with lorries that require assistance with their maneouvres, such as quarries or supermarket delivery bays, then wearing something that helps you to be seen is key.

In these two examples, visibility can be compromised by harsh or dark weather conditions, or by other obstacles in the environment such as quarry walls or recycling bins. By wearing high-viz clothing, a reversing vehicle should still be able to spot you and reduce the risk of being hit as you guide the driver backwards.

My favourite place to play bingo

Chit Chat Bingo is a site I was recommended to try by a friend. Knowing my love of the community aspect of bingo sites, she thought it would be up my street. I first went on to have a look and really liked the layout, colour scheme and how easy it is to navigate. These things may not sound important but it’s definitely something to consider when you’re selecting a site you’re going to be spending any amount of time on.

I’ve been playing online bingo for years, along with my husband, and we always like to try out different sites, although generally end up sticking to the same few. Chit Chat has definitely made it onto our favourites list, thanks to its overall user friendly layout and great games. After all, that’s what it’s mostly about. When you play bingo online, some sites can become repetitive or not offer enough choice. Chit Chat has something for everyone, no matter what kind of player they are.

It’s especially good if you like chatting to people – as the name suggests it’s primarily set up as a really sociable and friendly bingo site, which is exactly the kind of thing I like. Of course, there are also some great jackpots to win. The community in the forums share loads of helpful info like bonus codes and offers but more than that, you can have a really good chat and you’re welcomed straight away.

If you’re completely new to online bingo then it’s also a great site to start with. They have a social page which has a full dictionary of ‘bingo lingo’ that’ll help you become part of the community in no time! And it helps to make playing much more fun from the start.

There are also free games to play in the chat rooms all through the day with free bonuses that you can win up to a total of £5 each day. There is also a £20 no deposit bonus if you’re just signing up so there really is nothing to lose.

I think Chit Chat Bingo really stands out from the many bingo sites out there, partly because of its design. I like to feel comfortable and welcomed and I also like to be able to find my way around easily and enjoy the design and colour scheme – this is important when you spend as much time playing online bingo as I do!

There are 75 and 95 ball rooms as well as loads of great flash games to try, and of course there are some big bonuses, which you will most definitely want to try and win. Games are priced from 5p a ticket depending on the size of the cash prize on offer.

The pre purchase bingo rooms are the place to head if you want a bigger chance of winning the huge cash prizes and every Thursday there’s the chance to win a £5,000 jackpot in the bingo cafe. On other days there’s the chance to win a smaller but definitely still a decent amount of cash with a £1,000 jackpot.

Overall it’s a site that is worth checking out and if you like a chat, you’ll probably be like me and make it your favourite bingo site of all!
